  • Help to buy a pre-owned Stunner under 25K

a friend of mine wants to buy a pre-owned bike that gives good mileage and is reliable.. and is looking for something around 25k.. he thinks a honda stunner is a very good choice.. he lives in bangalore and was looking for suggestions as to where he can buy a pre-owned stunner.. he's not very well to do so he can't afford a lot of money.. any other options are also welcome.. please suggest..

A Stunner is not that old a bike, hence getting one for 25k is realisticlly IMPOSSIBLE according to me.

For 25k, your friend can get a decent 100-125cc bike, that would be over 4-5 yrs old (& roughly 40-50k Kms run).

There are lot of free online classifieds like sulekha, quikr, locanto, click.in, etc where lots of 2-wheelers on sale are advertised. Most of the advertisers are direct sellers, and there is no hassle of an agent being involved.

Alternately, there are lots of second-hand 2-wheeler sellers in Gandhinagar (Near Sukh Sagar mall/ National Market), and in VV Puram (on the road connecting Sajjan Rao Circle & Minerva Circle).

I personally advertised on the above websites when I wnated to sell my Discover 135 a year-and-a-half ago, & got tremendous response from interested buyers. But I ended up selling the bike to a dealer in VV Puram, as the direct buyers didn't give me a good deal.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
