Old school guy here. Oil pump dumping is not easy from my brain.

@Aargee: Thanks for coming early in the morning and spending time with my bike. My bike's problem has opened doors for education. Will plan to meet up sometime again.

Dumping oil pump is old school brain; most of the 2S that came after 70's had oil pump. So ppl suggesting to dump oil pump belong to old school

lol, i am with aargee on this one.. Old school believed in the holy art of mixing the oil with the fuel and maybe putting a damn mixie blade in the tank running to make sure it stayed mixed... hehe...

Get a new pump, and give your baby an extended lease of life.

I feel you should go for a new pump Sri as Jaideep said, coz 12 years is a long time and changing oil seals and shaft is not a permanent solution. Dont use premix!

(I am using my oil pump with my PWK flatslide and it performs much better compared to the time i was using premix initially)

          Cheers!

Sriram, if you want to use the oil pump, then replace it with a new one. No point in playing around with a 12yr old pump. Also, try to get another spare pump for future use.

Its not only the pump, but certain critical items like Manifold, Reedvalve, clutch bell assembly, Jet kit, crank shaft etc should be kept as spare if you intend to keep RX for life.

Got too many things to attend at the same time. So RX is in the priority list to be attended but it is not the first.

I will again inspect the bike for any future requirements. Apart from Oil leakage, she is doing a good job taking me around without issues.

my RX 135 5s with a 4speed Engine case has a leak....though the oil leak is not so fast, still because of it i have to refill engine oil quickly...Mechanic in YSS said that it is because of a small crack in thread of a screw holder in the case near the gear shift lever...Can it be resolved??

Oil leak, but the crack appears at the gear shift lever??? I'm totally confused. Can you post some pics or make a detailed write-up pls? I'd like to understand before commenting anything.
