  • To Register my Complain Against BAJAJ

Hello everyone i woud be really helpful if someone can help me register a complain for the careless service provided at their service center at gantok which resulted in the damage of my battery that too within 9 mnths from the day of purchase.
The problem started when i went to them to change the right side of indicator of my pulsar 220.
They fitted the left side indicator in place if right side and they left the connection of the wire without insulation, which resulted in the earthing of the connection and my battery was busted.
i had to push my bike all the way for 40 Km that to at night, the very day when i went to bajaj centre and that guy just touched my bike and said its okk you dont have any problem.

i had to buy one new battery which costed me 1700 Rs and when the problem was finally sorted at a local garage they are not ready to admit what they did and they are saying that they cant do anything for what happen to my bike.

i would be really helpful if someone can make this complain reach bajaj higher authority so that from next time we the simple thinking hills people are not looted with high rates and useless service at bajaj gangtok.

    Thank you in Advance

Ask the service people for the cell-number of Area Manager of your region and then talk to him directly.

            Bajaj customer care number,

            1800 233 2453.

Call them mention the problem the you faced, your bike's registration number, the service centre you approached and its location.
Presence of MIND and self CONFIDENCE is the primary aspect You need to be on road, not what brand your riding gears are.

I would suggest that write an email. Bajaj Customer Service is very responsive.
In october i faced issue with a service center in Pune. Sent an email and in just 5-10 minutes works manager of Service station called up and promised immediate attention to problem.. And when i went next time I was mighty impressed with the response and attention I got. Just too good. As a customer I really felt like a King.
Kudos to the responsive team of Bajaj.

you are a bit late in taking action I would say. you shouldn't have got the battery changed from out side so quickly and later claim the problem from bajaj. Rather, you should have stick to the problem and told them that you ain't going anywhere without a battery replacement from them.

having said that, you problem still seems genuine if the mechanic did a cock up on your bike. talk to the service centre manager about it and if he seems non-bothered, tell him about your thread on xbhp

I did this already and they told me that gangtok servicing center is not a probiking servicing center so they cant help me.
I even went to meet them personally but they said gangtok branch is not authorised so we cant help you.
Before that they have nt mention anywhere that gangtok branch is not an authorised probiking servicing center

I also thought about that but to reach the service center i needed my bike to run and for my bike to run i needed the battery.
Tranporting a bike in hills for 40KM costs u more then the battery so i had no choice other then getting a new battery and reaching the service center that day.

If they say that itz not an authorised center then there'z no other way, are you sure you mentioned the right address of the visited svc?
If it is an authorized one but not for pro-bikes and if there are no pro-biking service centers nearby then mail them stating this and ask whether what customers like you should do rather than going to another authorized center and ask them will they guarantee service and spares if you go to a local garage?
Or if it is not at all an authorized one in any case,
Is there any sign board mentioning BAJAJ AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER, if so take a snap and mail your conversation where they mentioned that itz not authorized and attach the snap.
Or else take help from the consumer court (hope am not pointing out the wrong way) and before that meet the service manager once more and tell them you will be prompted to go to consumer court. Correct me riders if am pointing the wrong way...

@goku: If you open bajaj-auto website, there's a menu called "customer care"... in that a sub-menu appears, as "customer request form". If you open that, you will find a complaint procedure. Do that explaining your issue & what wrong the service centre. Frankly speaking, I did it 5 times till now. It matters for the respective service centre in their internal-query-order system. So, go ahead. Once you submit the form you will get a reference-id, in your phone or, mail-box. Quote that to bajaj customer care number, when you call next.

The service center was not for pro-biking its a Rural Service Outlet(R.S.O) of Siliguri bajaj and when i went to siliguri with this they said its not authorised.
I called up the customer care and narrated the whole story and my question was if they were not authorised then why did they(R.S.O) performed all my free servicing and after a year they are saying that its not authorised.
They agreed to this and they are paying me back my money which i used to buy the new battery against the old battery.
Now i am happy and i think that they will not repeat such carelessness again.
