Thanks a lot for your replies.

I will keep posting as and when I will get the queries.

I will be taking delivery of my bike on 3rd Feb 2011 or 7th Feb 2011.

Till that time I will be coming to you with my questions.

      Sorry for bumping this again.

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between AC and DC supply of battery to Headlights?

What I think is, if the headlight can be switched ON without the engine power then its DC, and if it does not switch with engine stopped then AC.

Please correct me if I am wrong and also please reply me or direct me to correct thread for the answer.

      Cheers!

Make sure your bike number, engine, chassis and color are correct on the invoice (look for typos)
        Check for tool kit
Check for scratches and a worn out tyre
        Check odo, petrol level.
Check battery if it's been swapped with an old one
        Check engine oil level
Check if the lights are wrking properly

A/C - refer to type of current that is coming out generator (read it at home)
D/C - refer to type of current that is coming out of batteries (read it torch)
So, I hope you'll be able to make out the difference, having learned the foundation.
