Even i was thinking the same as he mentioned he already have 5 turns towards the richer side.
I was supposed to ask this to PSR myself, but he already answered.

BTW i am running higher compression, and using the stock plug.
Since the master has put his thumbs down, i guess it shouldn't be done.

@ Nanotechnology, drvmtm, psr and others:

guys i already know that white plug means lean mixture and plug should be brownish in color to indicate correct mixture.

please read my problem clearly, i have clearly mentioned that pics were taken when it used to overheat, now it doesn't.

so theoritically, it sums up like this, earlier my bike was running lean and now it is corrected by keeping the turns at 5.75 turns.

my question was - it now gives only 35-40 kmpl??

this is too less for P150.

Pulsar 150

Greetings,

I owned pulsar 150 DTSi 2006 model last Diwali it completed 4 years. When I go above speed of 85 -90 kmpl I get noise coming from engine. From last 4 years I have changed clutch plate twice and regular servicing. One of mine friend told only run till 60 kmpl for good average as my bike is told noise will generate.
Please advise on same.

can you state what's the noise is, how it sounds and from it can be heard
