    As hitanshu mentioned, I too guess the grade of the oil would come into play when ridden above 5000 RPM or when engine experiences more stress at any gear.

      Dude dont go with crapstrol
      IMO Valvoline/Elf/Gulf/HP or else Motul.
      BTW am using 20w40 in my pulsar too and ride the same like you. No problem whatsoever.
      PS I keep trying oils and found that Gulf brand great.
      My oil drain interval is usually 1200kms for now.
