I recently purchased Pulsar 220 F on 1st of May. I am experiencing a few of problems :
1) The gear shifting has become harder than it was on the first day. It even gets stuck sometimes while shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and so on. Expecially 1st to 2nd transition was a little harder on the 1st day itself but I thought that it will be ok with a little time as its new. But as time is passing its becoming more harder and rougher
Doesn't feel new bike at all atleast from the gears. I checked this with the pro-biking guy and he checked he lever a bit and then told it will be ok with time or else to bring to him again. Is this normal with new bike or shall I go to him again.2) My bike wasn't going to reserve. After first refill it returend 42 kmpl and the red light mentioning the reserve got red, both at around same time. Then I again filled 1 ltr petrol just to check on the mileage again. To my horrifying surprise the bike wasn't going to reserve. The red light glowed sometimes in between driving ( when I drove a little faster ) but then again it went off and no sign of reserve ( the dhag dhag sound followed by jerks wasn't there ). Then again while taking it from stand still it kind of felt stalling but when given a little more throttle ran again and still no reserve. Today finally it showed the red light and after some time the jerks and then it went to reserve. I looked at odo and it ran whooping 80 kms after last reading. Its simply not possible. What could be the problem. Earlier I was suspecting that the fuel know may be faulty but then it came to reserve and my suspicion was void.
3) The bike autochoke works nice when started in morning. Though 2 3 starts are required ( is it ok with new bike ?? ). It goes to 4k rpm for say 2 3 secs and then returns to 1.4k rpm. But then I ride it for some time and stop at traffic signal then it idles at 2k or 2.2k rpm and not 1.4k. Is this the right behaviour ?
Please help me out in this regards.
