Yup.. Zappers are what you need..

I'd say go for a 120.. better grip than your stick 100/110

And you're the first person here who seems to be happy with the stock apache rear tyres!!

          I don't recommend a 120,Stick with 100 or 110.

TVS makes sh***y tyres! These are only responsible for the skids. No other reason than that. The double cradle synchrostiff chassis is just perfect. And how do you think this when RTR records the fastest lap time on the race tracks, atleast when R15 was not there in the scenery!??If you had bought ABS then appreciate it man, dont just go on finding faults in the bike!

Keep the recommended tyre pressure only.Lowering the tyre pressure will give you some more grip but it will take a toll on handling in the process. Its dangerous, search on google the after effects of lowering/increasing the tyre pressure other than recommended levels, you will get to know some info there.

NO.Stick to stock size i.e.100/90 18''.120 section tyre would be an overkill. He will lose out acceleration & top speed in the process cause of that 'phat' tyre!

              tyre!
I agree that Zapper Q is better than stock tyres, but under wet conditions it didn't give me enough traction on Victor. I had to use downshifting technique mostly to avoid skidding. But, it was miles ahead while cornering in dry condition in comparison with stock tyres. One more thing, after 1.5 years, it did not feel like soft compound either (was mine a lemon?). I have not tried the other Zappers, though.

Like you said, RTR's chasis, is only next to R15, undoubtedly. However, its just my opinion that the short wheel base might make it prone to skidding in street conditions (not track). I may be wrong, not sure. It's not about finding fault, but probing to make things evolve better. Why do you think I chose RTR ABS when I could have bought P 220 with the same moolah!

The ABS is a whole game changer, you have to ride to believe it! It is awesome.

Ya I too am thinking of stock tyres but not sure where to get em from in pune/mumbai..the service center guyz could not help me in finding em

I am running zapper fs 80/90*17 front and zapper Y 100/90 rear. The grip levels are not as good as the stock tyres at the rear front is good though.
I have never got a skid on wet surface cause i get very careful in wet i dont lean or speed up in wet. But even while the roads are not so wet after the rain stops etc. the grip is not good.

Wet road grip ?? Then go with Michelin M45 (4.00-18) or if you want tubeless then Michelin Pilot Sporty (100/90-18). You will never regret.
