I purchased this black Apache RTR 160 RD on 15th April... Was initially great confusion with all the options galore, and also since i am a 6footer
but finally couldnt resist the RTR temptation....The purchase was fine.... Then what blew my mind was the serviceman while delivering the bike 2 me, put in around 500ml of petrol, self started it up, and went for a spin..... When he returned it was 5.6 seconds on 0-60 timer and a top of 85 !!!!!!!!!!! I was like

WTF ! after reading on months about running in this is what gets done .... Was quite scared also.... But the bike was running fine and the worry faded......Then come 15th May gave it up for 1st servicing, it was 460km on odo.... After the srvice didnt feel much of a thing.... Till that, i was maintaining around 4.5k max on the rpm meter, after doing 500km, felt like taking a little spin... Took it up to 102 for around 2 seconds.... Then i also went for a 60 km continuous trip.... Rpm still always within 5k......
But, wat i "feel".... purely aural, that the engine has become somewhat harsh sounding over the days, in the initial condition, the xhaust tone was sweet to listen everytime... but now, like when i am stand beside the bike, rev it up to 4 k , the engine sound is also very prominent....
Vibrations wise while driving, it is still the old apache, totally smooth after 66-67 on the speedo.... but i am worried if nething bad has happened to the engine and shud i get something checked at the SVC ???
(Also any xBHpians in Kolkata can u please let me know about what to do and where to do in kolkata about accessories and stuff ?? I am a total noob at all these )

Only that the sound was a little smoother just when the bike was new, and the engine is more "audible" nowadays .... The bike came after almost 6 months of pleading and planning so i am a little tensed about its well being thats all....
Do Noe expect that RTR Fuel gauge to be accurate . But if u want to know exact reading just put ypur bike on main stand for a min and then it shows exact amount of fuel in Tank.
