Opening the stock exhaust.

A friend told me to remove the inner part of stock exhaust and that would increse the bikes power by manyfolds.

Is it possible or is it true ???

stock exhausts have nets inside which FFE doesn't hence called Free-Flow Exhausts.

Decibel killer restricts the flow a bit and hence the sound and reduces performance.

Therefore, FFE with decibel killer is better than stock and FFE without DB killer is better than FFE with DB Killer.

AFAIK, the people who are using Joel'd FFE on their 220 also some other bikes,they say that there in an increase in perforance as well as fuel efficiency.

Joel is claiming 10% increase in power and 3-5% increase in FE for his free flows.

yes they do...

have motormania has Joel's exhaust... have ridden his bike, damn it feels so different...

and from him i've come to know that it has infact increased the fuel efficiency as well...

For mono shock, change the swing arm to that of FZ. There is one guy in Cochin Kerala who does modifications on bikes, mainly for motocross. At his garage I've seen lots of Pulsars modded with FZ swing arm and mono shocks...
