I have a pulsar 180 UG2 2006 model, the one with analogue meter, had done around 32000 kms. I am facing a problem of engine noise.
The problem started 1 yr ago when a little amount of water went inside my bike tank (no idea about that at that moment of time)
and the bike engine started turning off by itself. I took my bike to a mechanic who said there is something wrong with the breathing pipe or air filter, and after a few effort he attempted to start the bike and lug the engine with full throttle, he did this thing 4-5 times.... eventually that bloody a**hole mechanic came to rectify the real problem. But on the next morning when i started my bike i got a clicking, sound (like tak-tak) coming from the engine. I rode nearly a half a mile then I noticed the engine was again sounding smooth.Again I went to that mechanic and he suggested me to change timing chain. Then I took my bike to the Authorized Bajaj Service Center they suggested me the same thing.
Then I got the timing chain changed.
After that I noticed the sound is still there and I'm facing another problem of engine overheating.
Now after 1 year I have become habitual of this thing but now I'm feeling that my bike engine is giving out this sound all the time, so really need to get out of this problem.
I'm a person who love to keep his bike at good shape with healthy engine. My friends says that my bike has a nice deep and heavy sound. I can't tolerate this problem anymore.
Please my xbhp frndzzzzz help me.

I would appreciate your posting of a solution.
