^^So you are saying, bike idles normally when on side stand.. But stalls if vertical..?

There is definitely some loose electrical connection. your bike starts when some things are moved, that's when the circuit is complete. then it breaks again. You should consider replacing the wiring if you haven't already

shanxthechashmish - Next time the bike stops, follow this simple steps & see if the bike starts immediately
1. Open the fuel lid cover
2. Leave the fuel lid open for 2 seconds & then close the fuel lid
3. Start the bike
What you need to post back here is...
- How long did it take to start the bike as mentioned in step 3 above
- Did it start immediately? Did it start every time you did the above 3 steps each time the vehicle stalled?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

YES YES YES!!!Originally posted by Honda_CBF View Post^^So you are saying, bike idles normally when on side stand.. But stalls if vertical..?
Thats the recent development i have noticed.. Earlier it used to be the king of its own will.. Whenever it wanted, it used to start, and whenever it wanted, it used to halt, or even deny starting itself altogether, no matter how many self i crank..

replacing the wiring?
Dude, the bike's like 1.5 years old ONLY!!
Wouldn't that be a part of WARRANTY?
If not, then where should I get it done from? Bajaj authorised workshop or somewhere else..
I live in North-West Delhi..

Right now the bike is with the service guys..
If that problem isn't resolved now, I would definitely try this method for sure..
But, I guess, I did try opening the fuel lid, but don't remember if I kept it open and then turned on the ignition and whether the bike started or not...
Will surely try this out...

RESOLVED... Finally!!
GUYS!!!
The problem with the bike has been resolved now....
I appreciate and respect all the solutions you guys presented to me...
The SC guy called me and told me that the bike is all well now.
I didn't believe him and confirmed again...
so he said, "We had a lot of pressure from above, your bike was Priority Number ONE. There is no way we would have called you if we weren't 200% satisfied with ourselves now. Your Starter Relay had short-circuited. We have changed it."
I went there, and the bike was working fine..
It has been 2 days now, and the bike as awesome as usual..
It costed me Rs.64+ taxes.. Total Rs.72.
They didn't charge me any labor, as my bike was on complaint, and I had already threatened to take them to Consumer Court, plus I had lodged a formal complaint on their All India Helpline Number..
Guys! This tollfree number really works wonders! and these people take you seriously only when you call them up!
I'm attaching the Ignition/Starter Relay.. Have a look..
