^^112.5?? How big is the stock 2004 pulsars jets? The current V3 Pulsar 180 itself runs on a 120!! Else how about a Uni's jet that's a 115 right?
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

ELD, Yeah the Uni jet is a 115, Keihin though. I am running that on my bike.
      The 04 150 dts i came with 107.5 and and 180 came with 112.5
As far as 180 ug3 goes, 120 size main jet is news to me. You sure about it bro?

Do Keihin's jet fit onto our Mikuni's? I was at the PBK SVC when i came across a chart which had all the Jet sizes for the current and previous model, and i too was surprised to find that the 180 had a 120 main jet, i even asked the mech. about this and he said the V3 P180 had this jet indeed

one more query before am getting into stock.....fitting mono shock to pulsars swingarm + and changing to pulsars 17"alloy wheel ...will it do much better......than now and i also have a K&n installed......

          anyway thanks guys.......
switching to 17" will be helping you but use low pro tyre......
that won't scratch the mud guard in full swing........

to make things simple, pull out the KN and go for the original stock filter and also the the 17 inch alloys...keep the hard setting....by the way,,,.... u cannot have the stock filter as a stock one if u install a mono shock since the shock would fixed in the core frame, but this stock filter would hinder that.. hence your mech would have opted for a KN...ask him to install the stock one by reducinh the sixe of the air box a little...it was done in my friends bike

in indonesia, standar P180 ug3 had 117,5 main jet. P200 had 110 Main jet...
Yesss,,, that's right, because its jet needle's taper is different. Bigger jet needle's taper needs bigger main jet... P200 needle is smaller than P180. It indicates that the main jet works earlier than the P180 does...

AND... KEIHIN's jettings are different with MIKUNI ones...

@TS,, a friend of mine that fitted a K&N air filter on his bike, replaced Pilot Jet with a bigger one , 1 or 2 step higher in number. And for main jet, do the same,,,,,

what performance gain will i get if i do jetting......
will the fuel efficiency goes down drastically????
now am getting 48 mileage if i goes around 50-55 ....
if i blast it gives me half of it......

                  ^^
isn't that so extrme?? just half?

Before u do jetting, please take a look at ur spark plug color...
If it's in a good mix,, than sure it doesn't need new jetting...
If u have an AFR sensor, it would be helpful for knowing it...

Perfect jetting made our bike in a good mix between fuel consumption and performance...

First of all its a trial and error thing, you wont get it right in one shot.
If you get it done properly, there will only be a marginal drop in fuel effi, less than 5km drop. In my case I never faced such a drastic drop when ripping though.

i agree it's a trail and error thing you wont get the best setting in the single go..............
check the plugs colour if it's brown black then ur setting is right........
you'll gain in performance but not much and drop in the eff can vary from 5 to 15.............

that tyre is a sure proformance eater...
but ive ridden a similar bike..which includes a sprocket job along with an upjet...and the proformance was ok...if not good..
i didint ask about the mileage...but it sure is below 40..
