Check both Master and Slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is near the caliper and the master one is near the brake lever.

Don't fret, If you still have the warranty, write a mail to Yamaha back office and ask them you need a change of the following

    - Master and Slave cylinder
    - Brake Pads
    - Brake Fluid
    - As they are replacing the brake fluid, have them bleed it once.

Basic rule: Don't use any kind of Lube on the discs. If you feel it's dirty, give it a wipe.

@Aargee, FZ and SZ have different brake setups. FZ has a larger rotor.

How would I convince them to get replacement for Master and Slave Cylinder, Brake pads and brake fluid? How can I prove that it needs a replacement? Should I just go and tell them I am not happy with braking and get me above things replace? Will they listen to me? And as far as pad wear concerned i was right there with mechanic when he removed the brake pad, the grove on the brake pad was clearly visible after he cleaned the brake pad. So I guess this tells us that brake pad are in good condition and there was unusually high amount mud / dust accumulate on it!

    Please suggest.

    Cheers!

Compare your pads with the stock piece; ask them to compare you vehicle with another SZX for the same kind of braking at the same place; compare the wear & tear between your disc plate vs the new one's disc plate.
