as i am planning to go for a record i need detailed help regarding the choice to be made, GQ ride it is and hence covering approx 1600-2000 kms in a day is normal, kindly help me

CBR250R is what I would suggest. After buying please spend some time learning about the bike and how to resolve minor issues.
But if you plan to do the ride right after buying a bike then go for a Pulsar 220 as you already have experience with a pulsar before.Comment

Back to your original question on GQ; buy a bike if you want to, but not specifically for GQ; you're not going to GQ everyday!!!
Any vehicle that is capable of running about 7000 Kms should be able to do GQ comfortably; to me its more of the rider than the ride; since you've done SS & BB, there should be nothing stopping you to do GQ.
You'll be able to do about 600 Kms everyday easily & keep aside about 11-12 days & this is all you need. Not a new bike!!! Ofcourse a reliable bike.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

though i own a pulsar till date i haven't found a good mechanic who is actually going to listen to you and understand what u want
if getting the running in 2 days with 2 servicing
and one servicing there after
thn 3rd or 4th day the bike will be ready for the ride.........................?Comment
