Recently my Uni front wheel is wobling. Cant understand why.
Heard "A1 tyres" in Jayanagar do the job. Haven't got the bend removed as mine is negligible and I can live with it.

If front is wobbling, first check your coneset n fork alignment before concluding on wheels.

Thank you and wish you a happy new year (in adv) :P

Yes, any local garage mechanic should be able to check cone-set and fork alignment.

Re: 2 Wheeler : Wheel Alignment / Balancing Centers in Bangalore

Guys, i have gone through the thread ,
but since it's been a while since any posts where made here, I am adding to this.

I need to find a place where they can do a wheel balancing , usually needed after a tyre change. From other youtube videos, i know that all we need is a simple tool to get it done, but getting the tool imported would be really a pain and would cost a lot of money too.
So does anybody here knows any place within Bangalore, that does this over here ? The balancing part with adding appropriate weights on the rims.

          Cheers

Digging up the old thread with the same question. Anybody in Bengaluru doing balancing for Motorcycle?

I wonder how the Duke 390 riders have managed this at the time of rear tyre replacement.

Made a juggad stand myself and balanced the wheels myself. Got the weights from a tyre shop. the procedure is very simple but takes time and you'll need to cut the weights(min weight i could find was 10g) even more to perfectly balance. The procedure i followed was from yamaha r15's service manual.

Im very happy with how it turned out, use your stock axle rode and rotate the tyre very slightly with one finger, even a small touch keeps the tyre spinning for 5 min or so. Make sure your wheel bearings are good before attempting this. Keep the disc, sprocket etc on the wheels while balancing. you don't even need to go and make a stand to do this, just improvise, i did with some blocks of bricks.

                    Hello Nitin,

Is this the Bajaj auto service center in Banashankari?
I have few issues with my Apache 180. After changing the tyres to new set of MRF i am feeling wobble on front wheel, if i ride around 50-60KMPH and let go my hands the handle bar is shaking. I got the new tyre replaced citing the tyre issue, but its still there. I noticed that the wheel spins in oval fashion. Its not wobbling left-right but rather up-down. I went hard into a pothole may be there is slight bent in rim. TVS ASC are not able to identify the issue. And surprisingly i noticed the same behaviour on rear tyre too.
