How to remove Cd Marker Ink Drops
Hello , i am shaking the marker to make it working & the cap was removed , so while shaking ink drops come out from it & go to rest on mudguard of my bike ,as soon as i noticed it , i putted water to remove it , but some part remained there , visited to the coating guy & even his scratch remover solution is unable to remove it . Is there any way i can remove that ink drops its looking really bad red dots on white mudguard .

Thanks for approval & big thanks for suggesting solutionOriginally posted by sunilg View PostIt should come off easily with a few drops of petrol!
another thing that you can try is to spray any deodorant on the ink marks and wipe it clean (tell me if this works for you).
Query approved.
Tried to clear it with petrol but no effect . Will get to friend to try deodorant ( as i don't use it )
No help from WD40 , upon several time tried to spray & clean with cloth but no effect on that ink drops .Originally posted by aargee View PostThe one & only WD40
Kerosene is also not working .Originally posted by Vishakh View PostTry kerosene spray and wipe it off
might work.
Will try the deodorant thing , if not then will search for the nail paint remover & try it but i have doubt that it will remove color of mudguard also

No bro dont use nail polish remover it contains acetone.. Surely gonna damage the paint.
Try ethanol or lab spirit.. My dad removed fevi-quick from our car's hood, it worked without damaging the paint.

Thank you everyone for the suggestion , tried each thing suggested but nothing worked .
But as i wash my bike daily , the marker ink is now faded out & not visible even with close look .
Mods this thread has surved its purpose
Oh that's really bad , damn why people get jealous when they saw other guy having better bike than theirs .Originally posted by hunkofgals View Posthad the same problem
someone spilled ink purposefully on my bike
and i applied petrol but no use so got it rubbed and 99% of the ink went but
even the paint faded a little n got dull in that region

Use thinners, will work without dulling the paint underneath or damaging the clear coat.Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
