check the spark plug cables under the tank, mine had a same prob above 80kmph, the left sparkplug socket had gone loose which due to vibes at >80kmph was not firing properly & the RPM shot past the redline.

That was the first thing i checked. Got the plugs removed and cleaned enroute, but to no avail

Same issue I had past few months. My problem was bike chokes when its taken to good speeds. By the time I do 100+, it starts choking as if petrol's empty. But I can still do triple digits but makes hiccups. Local mechanics said its tuning problem. Got it tuned by them and the mileage reduced drastically. Then I tuned it myself. The problem by then turned severe. If I redline or even go past 8k rpm in each gear, by the time I take on the 5th gear, the engine stalls. It wont start for the next few mins. Gave my bike for 3rd service after few days and told them to drain carb, clean tank n fuel lines. Problem vanished after that. So I guess either the jet is clogged or fuel lines are choked which prohibits the entry of the required quantity of petrol required for high rpms. No idea about the spark plug thing.

okay, had this problem in my pulsar 135 few months back. solved it thanks to NINAD here.

if im not wrong, the the airhole inside ur feul tank is getting choked. That is the main problem.
When u get the same feeling of choking/fuel runnig out at high speed, quickly shift ur fuel supply to RESERVE. I am sure that it wil continue running as it still happens to me now. Just run in for a couple of kilometres and then shift the fuel supply to normal again.

If you are late and the bike stops(as you mentioned), then just open the fuel tank lid. wait for 2 seconds. shut it and start! you should be running again.

To My knowledge it may be the issue because of improper tuning, or try to change the fuel station I prefer using speed Petrol for P220 but most people say normal petrol is more than enough, once again just check the tuning bro

Today I got the same problem rectified, they chap removed the whole fuel knob (reserve knob) from the tank, there are 2 pipes of unequal lengths attached with the fuel knob which stays inside the tank, he said it gets clogged because of dirt in fuel. He cleaned it & its working fine now, I tested it at 90+kmph.

I took it to the service centre. They reckon cleanin the fuel line and carb might solve the issue. Lets see what developments take place.
