I am facing a problem with my P-220 Carb (Jan '10 model, 25k done). I really cant figure out the source of the problem, and unfortunately nor can the service centre guys.

I did a quick dash upto Chakrata from Delhi a couple of weeks back. On the highway, as soon as i revved the bike beyond the 6k mark/90kmph the rpm needle immediately shoots upto the 12k mark and the bike starts missing, to the extent that the engine nearly stalls if the throttle is not decreased after a few minutes. Never faced this problem in the city coz one hardly goes above 80 in the city limits during day to day usage.
I took the bike to the Bajaj service centre in Yamunagar but they couldn't figure out the problem. The service centre guys in Noida reckon it had something to do with water droplets in the carb, which as per them was rectified. But the problem still persists

I hope i'm making some sense here. Would appreciate if someone could throw some light on this
