maybe true incase of a Discover 135 (recommended 20W40) but definitely not true incase of Pulsar 135LS (recommended 20W50). I'd say, change your oil to Motul 300V xxW50 (FS).

1. I'm sure 20W40 is recommended for CT-100 so Shell Advance Ultra 10W40 or Motul 300V 10W40
2. AFAIK, 20W40 was recommended for 2003 ZMA's. In that case, same oil as above.
