I am not sure how quiet you expect RX100 to be though. If the exhaust assembly is not damaged and the sound you are getting is like that of any other RX100 then I suggest you don't meddle with it.
Thanks NitinGirish , I am not thinking of DTW for the same specific reason. Its when people like you share their personal experiences and help others to make a better choice.

Just a thought, Will changing the silencer part of RX 100( the whole exhaust part) to RX 135 ...will that make it sound quieter ??

After some theory sessions to you on this topic. Get down to practicals. Go change and see it for yourself. That's even better to learn the difference.

On it, trying to look for a RX that I can replace the silencer with

Check with couple of people around my place but there were not ready to do this, have asked a local mechanic to let me know if he gets one that we can try with.

Will try it at the earliest ...Thanks again for taking time out to provide all the information you did

My call is to leave it as such, coz any measures to cut down the exhaust note will lead to a serious performance degrade.

On the contrary, he wants his RX to be silent.. We are not really in the picture what' his bike sounds like but only ask him to compare with fellow RX in his city if his bike is loud and his answer is Yes. So loads of inputs given for him to take it forward.

Thanks a lot Guys, I guess the issue seems to be resolved .

As suggested by 'Sriram', I was able to replace the muffler(silencer core) of the RX 100 with another one for RX 100. That seems to have resolved the issue.
Also, cleaned out all the glass wool and now its sounder better without it.

Specially like to thank Sriram for taking time out to talk to me and providing various options that helped in resolved this

That's what we were trying to say here. Anyways, only you can differentiate the sound if it is loud and not that loud. Have fun!

the sound is not from engine... it is from the exhaust the important thing is the silencer is fully altered..and then inside of the tank is fully rust.. to avoid the helicopter sound i cleaned my tank.. it gives one day correct beat before that i changed the jet it gives one week correct beat...now again it starts when the beat changed like helicopter i want to give extra throttle for correct beat so plz give some tips to get the correct beat
