  • Kick start in honda cb dazzler....

hi...everybody...i am new in this Xbhp forum and probably one of the very few people who have learnt to ride a bike quite late....but i am extremely passionate about any two-wheeler machine....i wish to ask the experienced and seasoned bikers of this forum a few questions...
    1. Is the self start option in cb dazzler reliable??
    2. If the self-start option fails, how do we start the bike??
    3. Can a kick start option be fitted into the cb dazzler as a modification??

    Kindly reply...

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      1) Yes. The RR is quite reliable. Sometimes the relay/battery go kaput and u have to get them changed under warranty. But generally you should not face any problem

      2) turn on ignition. Put the bike on third gear. Walk the bike till u see 7 kmph on the speedo. Dump the clutch while giving slight throttle and the bike will start. Pull in clutch the moment engine fires.

      3) One guy from bombay did that. check for facebook link on ownership thread.

        10.
        Just few things to add:
*starter is the most robust thing a bike has. Most problems are with starter switch, relay and battery & fuse.
        * push start in 2nd gear, it only needs ~5kmph, push start in 1st gear may do even in 3kmph but you should be on the bike (for more traction on tyre) or else wheel will lock.
        * kicker can be installed, but may void warranty.
