  • P220 & my Own Modification :)

    Hey all.

Making this thread just for asking help from Mumbai and nearby people in making my Pulsar 220 Different from Stock

I've seen sooo many pages from the modification thread and pulsar 180 thread and I seriously went mad after I saw some images of Bike modifications from @throttle_GRz & @sumit19 .

    1 Question for both of you guys : (@throttle_GRz & @sumit19)
Can you guys provide me custom paint-job for my Pulsar 220 in Mumbai or nearby and Can I have a Approx Price idea so that I can start making mind ?

    ~~

I'm making this thread just because I don't want to copy others, I just love my Sher (Yes, I call my 220 this ) to look different from all others.

    1. I have Blue Neons which looks cool to me. (Tried using Fevi-Quick & tape many times but this time I'm gonna fix it forever.)
    2. Front alloy wheel color as "Dirty-Golden" (Permanent not the cheap one)
    3. Some custom paint-Design on my Pulsar 220 body.
    4. Number-Plate as That of Pulsar 200NS
    5. Rear Wheel Cover as that of Pulsar 200NS

Where to go in Mumbai or nearby to get all this done.
Permanent Job, not the temporary so that I have to take care of the loose and vibrating parts. :-/ (That really annoys)

    Please help ?
    I'm new in Mumbai
First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

    Query Approved
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

source the required number plate holder and rear hugger parts from an ASC or some shop which sells these and tell ur local mechanic to get it done for you if he ASC wont do it..

dont know about the first two but u can ask local shops which repair bikes about where can u get painting done...they will surely tell u..if not the custom pant if u can get hold of a regular paint job guy ask him he shud know where to get custom paints done...mumbai is a very large city so there will be tons of places to get it done...

PS i am not sure but once while i was at grant road station area(nhot sure east or west) there was a whole big locality where only bike shops were there doing all kinds of modifications custom paint jobs

i saw RX 100s there being custom painted and getting front and rear disc breaks...that shud be the place for you

And the Charge for only 1 ALLOY is "2000rs"

                LoL !

Mumbai don't have a Bike Market as Delhi have Karol-Bagh ?

                I'm Surprised !

first of all sorry for replying late not that active on xbhp.
lets answer all ur querries one by one
                      1. You have not mentioned about what kind of neon light u have used and where ,There are good quality xenon angel eye projectors are available for 220.
and if u are talking about neon under ur engine cowl Yes u can make them permanent with proper wiring and fixings.

2.No issue with alloy colors all paint job will be permanent with good quality

                      3. Make sure what kind of paint job you are planning ,Instead of heavy airbrushing I concentrate on overall look of bike and not individual part.

4.Instead of using 200 NS number plate bracket R15 v 2.0 bracket is better option it looks decent

and this whole bunch of pack will cost u around 8-10k excluding the neon/xenon work

u can directly shoot mail to me - [email protected]
i use same id for facebook as well
