[Photo Feature]: Heated engine smell in Yamah Fz16
So I've owned my Fz since over 3 months now, but never faced this problem before. The engine gives a kind of heated smell that is strong enough to get sensed through the helmet without any kind of attempt to focus or concentrate on it. It happens even after minimal usage, like 700 metres at a low rpm. Some of you might suggest that its due to wet monsoon conditions, but it once did happen on a sunny day as well. I'm not sure what step to take. Please guide. -

Even I have yamaha Fzs and I also face the same problem though its not really a problem as a couple of my friends do have this experience with their fzs.
However you can do the following:
1) check the engine oil level with the dipstick,
2) refill if necessary.
