Also after riding for sometime rmp goes to 3 at idle even when shifting the rpm doesn't settle down immediately.
Not to worry man. Bajaj has come out with a modification to the sensor or the switch , as per the service engineer. He said that bajaj has already sent emails to dealers about the change and that the spare might come in a week and it would take only 15 minutes for the changes. Check with the service center about the changes and get it replaced/fixed under warranty.

Mods: Hope this rant is not OT

Regarding the sensor issue, I had lodged a complaint against the service center where I got my first service done. Said I had issues the oil sensor (prior issue, not fixed) and massive vibrations (introduced after service)

      BIG MISTAKE
Service center representative calls me to get my bike in for sensor replacement. I take the bike in on 1st September. I let go of the throttle at 60kmph and the bike keeps accelerating past 80 before I hit the kill switch. Bike is now idling at 8000rpmHe opens the throttle in neutral and keeps it banging off the rev limiter for close to a minute

Sorry to hear about the bad experience. Out of curiosity.. was the service center a dealer service center or just an authorised service station. My guess is that the services done at dealers (main showroom) or service centers of highest reputation would be best bet . I would still suggest that you communicate with customer care the same way you have written (might have to screen a few words ) and even if the same service center calls don't go. Best of luck mate

Just to add. Whenever you visit service centre ask them to prepare job card with the issues listed clearly. Take a photo of the job card and save it. Might come in handy always

exactly .. my 2009 model p220F is still having this oil sensor issue and still unresolved. Changed multiple sensors, oil all topped up but still the low oil indicator comes up after riding few kms. I am now fed up of the svc guys as they keep saying its not an issue, But this still keeps bothering me .. Any clue as to what it could be, I want to end this ... Foreva

hello bro, does your bike gives any issue in pulling? rpm increases but the bike seems like its giving a hard time in pulling especially in hiliy areas. feels like there is some vibrations somewhere near the engine from the left side. i dont know if its from the chain sprocket.
