    hii everyone
i own pulsar 200dtsi 2007 model i want to use halogen of 90w first preference or will go for 60w if i couldnot manage to go for 90w
i have gone through many threads as my bike is AC+DC with BCU and contactless switches i find it difficult to do what i want
i am thinking just to rewind 4poles with 19awg to support bulb of higher wattage so bulb will work on AC only
i dont know much about wiring so please guide how to make it happen
while talking to few people i found out rewind may cause problem to RR unit
    please anyone solve my problem
    i will be very thankful

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

if you want to go for 55/60 watts bulb then you can get on ac+dc setup with just putting avengers coil and changing rr to avenger's rr..then you don't need do any thing with bcu.

As we had discussed, there are some technical roadblock with the UG3/4 Pulsars. After rewinding, you will be required workaround with BCU and RR Unit. I would suggest you to put a secondary RR Unit and bypass the stock RR Unit and the BCU. But without the BCU the stock switches will not work.

you just have to fool the BCU at the time of starting, if you wanna use starter, and thats it. and we normally use a switch or a relay to achieve that. using a switch is a manual process whereas relay is an automatic switch.

it is easy, it is discussed there. and the RR unit of current pulsars is complete DC with 4 wires only and is also a robust unit, i have tried and used it for few days, it worked fine and i measured the current also, it was pumping in same as that of APE RR unit, in my bike 5.5 Amps. although i have not used it for long, but only few days, i felt it is good enough.

he wants only 60 watts bulb on ac setup not in dc and for that he doesn't need to do any work with the bcu only avenger coil and avengers rr would do..

sir i have gone through many but all of those were of either converting to DC or HID
i want to use halogen on AC with higher wattage as i have less budget

avengers coil is suitable for pulsar i mean it wont affect its tuning or top speeds???

90w bulb would fry your stock reflector and 90watts bulb would glow at its full intesity at around 4-4.5k rpm may be more so go for 55/60 watts bulb it is enough. I told you for avenger's coil because its core area is bigger than that of pulsar's coil, so the bulb would glow at its full intensity in lesser rpm than that of pulsar's coil which would be re-winded by you. if your budget is less then just go for re-winding the pulsar coil 4 poles with 19 swg wire and then fit the avengers rr..

no worries about the reflector buddy i am thinking of using abys reflector so reflector is not an issue
please specify which avengers coil avenger 180 or avenger 200 what is its cost
and also cost of the avengers RR
