  • Yamaha R15 handlebar for FZ16

Mates, would that work out? How much is R15's handlebar? Should not cost more than 300 bucks right?

Any attempts like this before? I have seen guys with R15 fairing on FZ16 but not just the handlebar though..

Mods, please be kind enough to approve this thread.. I know I'm starting too many threads, for a new guy..

It wouldnt be only the handlebar that you would be changing, would have to change a lot of the other things too.
almost the entire front end. a cheaper option is to get aftermarket clipons.

Front end? Could you please elaborate that. You mean the front fork?

Seems to be too much of cost and work then..

It dosen't have to look awesome but would it look awful? have anyone seen one? is it worth it?

I though, if its just the handlebar I could just keep changing the original and this as I please and do some trail runs..

            >>market clipons

Mate, ^this one.. few more words on this please? Is it like that of Pulsars? I was wondering, with R15's handlebar, since the driving posture changes with that one. Do you feel what I'm saying?

Which means, you are suggesting me to buy an used handlebar since I would not be able to get a new handlebar as they come as a set. Correct?

Thanks for your patience in replying so far!

Where are you from, this is not a used handlebar. You can get a new set for rs.800.
These handlebars will get bolted on to the fz's handlebar clamp.

Chennai.. Yups I understand what you are referring to now. In fact those are the kind of handlebar we find in pulsar right? I was specific about R15 since it was kind of in way changes the riding posture. Will also the clip on and see which suits better.

these are different from pulsar, if you are looking for more of a sporty riding position then get a clubman handlebar.

But why would you do that.period.The stock handlebar is pretty much up to the task and aids in handling for the streetfighter stance of the FZ..

R15 handle bar for Rs300 Naaa!!!

r15 is one of the costlier bike to maintain....where signal per piece cost you Rs 250!!!! So get an idea of Handlebar!!

Actually this will F**K your bike's integrity!! FZ handle bar are boon for it's comfort and it's perfect!! Changing to R15 handlebar it will cause discomfort in ride!!

FZ riding posture is way different than R15, if you change the Handle then you have to bend more with your legs at same position, which will cause a riding discomfort!!

FZ itself is best!! Why you want a modification. changing the handle it will show the riding position as sports bike but it won't be a sports bike ever!!

Save money for it and buy a R15 and that would be more better than changing the handlebar!!
