Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Looks like you're a new rider, Blip the throttle when you slow and downshift to match rpm. and if its an engine issue i'm sure experts will help you

New rider or not, this is not proper. Does this happen when engine is cold and on warming up everything is ok? I suspect this is happening only on a cold engine. Setting the idle rpm to optimal on a hot engine should solve this. If this is happening on a hot engine, then the ball in is experts courts...

Just tell me the idle speed, is it at 1k. If it is shutting down at 1k then re-tune the air fuel screw and report. Even after re-tuning the engine is shutting at 1k then there is some other problem. Report back for more.

1K RPM is low for the RTR. Keep it between 1.1K to 1.4K RPM, though the company recommended is 1.4 with 0.2+/-.

BTW, to the theadstarter, I hope you're not talking about engine stalling due to knocking after releasing the clutch. If not, then your Idle RPM is lower than needed. Warm the engine and re-adjust it to 1.2K.

Yeah set the idling to 1.2-1.4rpm only when the engine is hot, dont set when the engine is cold.If you feel is engine is overheating then go for a thick oil 20w50 or 15w50 or 10w50.

Right. Though a XXw50 oil will be a bit thicker for the engine. It won't harm but you'll feel some decrease in the rev-happiness of the engine. You can happily go for XXw40 grade, whereas 10w40 being the best suited for our RTRs.

I am a new rider only, actually what u r saying is right...when i about to take my first ride on every day i experience this..after i reach certain distance, everything comes normal....and it goes butter-smooth

I am a new rider...but this is not balancing the throttle and leaving the clutch, see i need to rise my throttle every time when i face speed breaker or when i apply sudden breaks...Thanks for ur reply....

                    I think its engine problem....

i think this will work...after retuning..i will post

I had this same kind of problem when I bought the second hand TVS fiero F2 and the mechanic was saying that it's the fault with my riding style. I was very much worried then, felt bad that I didn't know to ride a bike properly but when I took my bike to another expert mechanic, he tuned the carb and this problem not only vanished but also increased the mileage.

Before I used to get 36-38 and after the carb settings, I always used to get above 44km/l

I knew it! It happens only with a new and cold engine. After first service it will be all right. My friend's apache had the same problem, It needed a lot of idling before riding but now its alright after the first service. So its not a BIG engine prob, You'll get used to the riding style. Make sure you tell the technicians about this problem when you give it for service. Happy riding!
