Yes buddy, and thanks for the suggestions etc. Please continue providing tips and feedback. I will try out the decarburizing task next, but need to buy some good box spanners. Could you suggest a good brand.

Hello Buddy,
I have read many replies to your query & every has tried finding a solution for you more or less, I would like to put one bit of my experience too, first of all you need to cut out oil supply from the Oil pump totally & ride with premix in pertol tank with the ratio of 30 ml per litre this way you can be sure of your engine not seizing at any speed. Second please check the Oil seal of Klutch Rod which is inside the engine if that Oil seal is damaged Engine oil is like to creep in & come upto Crank & burn with the Petrol resulting in Excessive smoke & unbearable foul smell which I have expereinced many times with my Suzuki Shogun & the result is always damaged Oil seal of Klutch Rod

As 2 strokey said considering the availability of new bores for 2 strokes its better to go for a complete premix ie 30 ml per liter. Any way your are adding 2 t via premix. Apart from correct metering in various RPMs , The use of pump is you don't have to carry the 2 t oil with you or fill the poor quality 2 t from pumps. So those advantages are lost when you are premixing the oil Excessive oil results in carbon deposits in combustion chamber and on spark plugs.
You have to decarbonize your exhausts too as it plays a major role in a 2 stroke motor.

Thanks for the details my friend. I would have gone ahead with dismantling the oil pump if the smoke problem would have persisted. I happened to read an article where the author emphasized a lot on routine check up and monitoring of the 2T oil pump as part of every service which never happens here in India. So all that we do is to keep pushing our luck and are left with is blaming ourselves when something goes wrong. With proper preventive maintenance I guess the oil pump should last as long as the engine does. An article about Suzuki CCI lubrication system on the internet has a very detailed section dedicated to check for oil flow and health of the oil pump.Originally posted by 2strokey View PostHello Buddy,

Yes the most "fool proof" method would be to go a full premix way. I have been experimenting with various possible combinations and here is what seems to be a best of both premix and oil injection ( 20 ml premix + 20 ml oil injection) Till recently my oil pump was calibrated incorrectly and the ratio was as low as 20 ml 2T per liter of petrol and that was during the summer as well, So I am sure nothing can go wrong with this sort of hybrid oil lubrication approach.
I would be grateful if could share more information regarding the oil seal on clutch rod. How much does it cost and is it readily available. Do I need to tear down the entire clutch case to replace it( which may require gasket kit - that is hard to source). I might buy all the rubber or fiber oil seals and gaskets just to have the peace of mind for years to come. Perhaps you could share the snaps of the replacement procedure or the oil seal itself.

Sorry for not replying fast bro, the procedure is painful for replacing the Oil seal for klutch rod, has to be done by mechanic & opening the engine covers & yes It would be a great Idea to get all the oil seals & gaskets replaced, In Mumbai you could find these things with N. V. Motors in Grant Road or Atul Motors opposite Apsara theatre in grant Road. Other cities I dont know where to go.
