I hope you know CBR rear foot pegs are bolted on the chassis directly. What you can do to cure this problem is that tell your pillion to re adjust over a period of time. Another solution is to remove the foot pegs, get them welded to a different angle.

I had seen this in R125 UK forum, cant find the link now. He had used CBR 125R foot pegs to Yamaha R125 since the size matched, Reason - discomfort to pillion. May be you can swap with the 150R or Unicorn or R15 if the size is matching, note the dimensions and then check out with other bikes too.

Another solution would be fixing gel type seat, well, I doubt this can solve or interfears in eased off position but just letting you know incase other solutions fail. A comfortable seat also plays an important role in pillion comfort.

Actually, that's what I intended to do - remove the existing footpegs and re-attach them at a different location using metal clamps or welding. But I need some ideas regarding the re-fitment. My only concern is - will the jugaad be strong enough to bear the load of a pillion when he/she is climbing on to the seat?

Moreover, the arm which holds the footpegs is an aluminium unit - is welding possible at all?

I will suggest to use bolts, fasteners and locktite instead of a weld.. will be much better. Also the material of the extension you use should be of proper thickness for load bearing.
If you can find a CNC machine setup and a CAD designer, you can do a good factory looking job.. Come down to Pune I will do it for you

Thanks so much for inviting me Aditya! Travelling to Pune looks extremely tough, but if you could share an implementation idea, maybe I'd find someone locally to get it done. I am not very knowledgeable in terms of machinery so I really have know idea where I can find someone with a CNC Machine. Else, if you could design and send me a set, I am ready to pay the making and postage charges.

Do you have a Probiking or KTM showroom in your state ?
IMO KTM sells adjustable footpeg positioners which fit really well on the CBRs

Are you sure they sell something like that, and it's fits the CBR? I have a KTM service center not very far from my office and the Probiking showroom is barely 5-6 kms from my place. Can u post a pic/part no/any other detail so that I can hunt for it?

Regarding the rear ones you can mount any other footpegs which are slightly in front for the comfort profile.
