    Hi guys,

I own a Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG 4.5 , i have completed 5000 kms and bike has gone for 2 free services. there are some questions. I wanted to go to mechanic but i trust this website more than any one. :

    1) I want to change my spark plugs to better ones like NGX iridium or bosch (whichever is better). Which should i go for? please suggest.

    2) i want to use best engine oil for my bike i was using motul 5100 20w50. which one should i go for ?

    3) Should i install K&N filter ? does it improves performance?

    4) How to tighten the chain slackness ?

    5) How to tighten foot brake its loose ?

    Please Reply

      2) i want to use best engine oil for my bike i was using motul 5100 20w50. which one should i go for ? : Stick to it

      3) Should i install K&N filter ? does it improves performance? : Strict NO, until you want to screw the engine

      4) How to tighten the chain slackness ? : This will help <Thread>

      5) How to tighten foot brake its loose ? : Is the brake loose or the pedal loose?

            300v>7100>5100>3100>3000

this is the orderof motul oils..the first one being the best and the last one being the least best amongst all

if u are a normal sedate rider and dont rip ur bike much...5100 is fine and stick to it....3100 might be a downgrade...

and ask the mechanic to tighten the rear brake pedal at next service..or even a local mech can do it...

                Thanks
The master and slave plugs are hoh different ,but we do have members here who have used the same model one fo both sides without any problems. And fixing the plugs are very easy all together a 10min job for both plugs.

                Cheers

Ideally you shouldn't but many people have went against this rule and used it without any problems. So you are welcome to try it out.

Nothing to screw up really....it's a simple thing. Champions are more than enough. Get the base ngk model and speeds above 60 will be really smooth firing.

                        Cheers

Stock one's are good enough. The spitfire cables that are in the market are not useful to us really..it's just a luxury to have for street bikes like ours.
