    Honda Unicorn Starting and initial pickup issue


    I have a 2007 Honda Unicorn. Every day, I have to start it using the choke... even in summer. If it gets a start, then as I open throttle it will shut down the engine. I have to take the choke and rev the engine then the bike will move or else releasing the clutch will kill the engine. After revving the engine picking speed is an issue. it won't pick up speed. It feels like there's no air or it is being choked.

    I have cleaned the carburettor, changed its diaphragm and installed a new air screw as the rubber seal was torn.

    As the engine becomes hot after some riding 1-2 km everything works fine. Pickup becomes good and no start trouble when turned off with a hot engine. What could be the issue?

    Help me.

        Just tune the carburettor and see the difference. It has two screw one for Idle rpm and another one to adjust Air/fuel ratio.

            my tunning is perfect... 1 kick start.... the problem start when I try to rev up the engine...it will turn off instantaneous of I try to rev engine a slight...
            i now a days...kick start my engine... Wait at least 2-3 before putting first gear otherwise it will behave like somebody has choked the air supply

              Hi everyone ..I have a honda unicorn dazzler 2011 21k on odo ..now a days I am feeling that bike is vibrating a lot ..it is very uncomfortable..and I feel the mileage is dropped very much I am getting around 44-45 ..what could be the reason..can anyone help me with solutions to solve the vibrations?
