Free flow exhausts are always loud and noisy, there's no such thing as smooth from them, you can try out perforated exhausts which comes in pack, my friend has done for his bike and the sound is kinda good and not irritating and also it's little pleasing I can say. . . You can get a good perforated exhaust from any spare shops outside who is a well known dealer, and as you are having a k&n, you just need to upjet the carb and the performance will be simply superb with both and you'll definitely will gain power. . . Whatever you do, make sure you first know a good mechanic with whom you can trust and then start doing the job cos if it's not done properly then it's gonna affect your bike later on. . .

Seriously I don't know cos I stay in the South. . . You can post this query in the Delhi G2G thread where members from Delhi might help you. . . BTW others might ask you to get this or that, etc., brands for your bike, but I would suggest you just go for a good reliable one, found in local markets which you will be getting around 1500 to 2000. . . As long as the tuning is perfect, whatever the brand it is, the bike ain't gonna suffer. . . Keep updating us here about the build and performance after you have that installed, . .

Performance exhaust for HH Glamour? Glamour is a nice bike but you don't take a draft horse to race track
You seem like one of my friend who is obsessed with "modding" his Glamour. No offense to anyone.

Re: looking for performance exhaust for hh glamour 2009

No offense to the thread started but you need to get the fact straight that Glamour is not a performance oriented bike, it has been made keeping commuting with good fuel efficiency in mind. You want performance, invest in some better bikes, simple as that.

Now coming to free flow exhausts, let me be blunt on this : All these "dabba" exhausts or tin cans that you see on roads are nothing but are a pipe with nothing in it and which would eventually harm the engine in a bad way. All these well settled companies which make exhausts for bigger bikes have years of experience behind them and loads of science too.
Do you know that even a single mm of difference in inlet or outlet valve will fry away the valves resulting in an engine over haul with a big hole in your pocket.

Now let me break the ice for you, if you are using K&N and you "think" that it has boost your bike's performance , let me tell you buddy, you are wrong, it has given nothing to the bike but just a bass-y sound and not to forget that has also started to damage your engine.

Coming to upjetting, if anything goes wrong during this process, either it would run lean or rich, in any case that would harm the engine.

I would suggest you to keep the bike stock, save money and get a performance friendly bike.
Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Stay stock, stay happy. Throw that K&N right away. Proper upjetting also won't save yoiur engine from damage. BTW, K&N doesn't offer anything in performance, but sound. FFE is nothing but a polished tin can. Regarding local tin cans, I can just say LOL. Companies like LV, TB, Akra etc are not idiots who invest in R&D and stuff. Its always worthwhile to spend on well known mufflers for your bike, rather than just any dabba from a roadside mech!

Finally, why do you wanna kill your harmless glamor? Save $$$ and get yourself a bigger bike!
