Hi Bikers,
This is my first post in this forum, hoping my fellow bikers will help me. I should confess first that im a complete illiterate in biking or its mechanical problems. Because of this many times i have been cheated by local mechanics. I hope atleast here i will get correct info regarding my problem,
Bike Details:
Hero Honda Karizma R
Mfg Date : July 2012.
Kms clocked till now : 13,100+
Now coming to my problem is, Air Lock ( Please don't say its a common problem ,because i have gone through the whole forum regarding this and i have tried all sorts of workarounds , like opening fuel lid, blowing air through it. But none of them helped me
--> I have Changed my spark plug and Air filter Element at my 5th SVC, since then i'm facing this airlock problem.
---> If my bike was left unused for a day or two and start it , it will initially start . but after driving for 1-2 minutes. It stalls and never start.
---> I tried work around like opening the fuel lid, opening the seat cover, shake the bike a little when fuel lid is open ,none of them worked.
----> Only after leaving the bike for 20-30 minutes , it will start again.( This happens generally when i start to office and eventually i get late to office) :-(
when i showed it to a local mechanic, he said the Engine head may be clogged with Carbon and that's the reason the valves have been blocked. But in HH service center they are saying we need to check and look what all parts needs to be replaced. they must be done.( usually the HH service centers in Hyderabad are so worst that they don't even tight the brakes when serviced)
Please somebody suggest me exactly whats the root cause for the problem and how to solve it
