Re: USD for bajaj avenger 200cc
Cheers! I own 200 as well.
If you are talking about rear shocks, the only alternate you can fit would be RE TB ones with little drilling in it.
If you are talking about the front forks, did you check the fork size of duke vs avenger? It will not be a direct fit. You will end replacing the whole assembly and eventually the dynamics of the bike.
Post a picture if you can for clarity

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.
A good mechanic will let you watch even without charging you for it. |
It is funny to know that we've been imitated and copied so well and surprising when we notice our mistakes are copied as well.

Re: USD for bajaj avenger 200cc
1) The duke's forks are bigger than those in avenger, so u will have to change the whole assembly and u may not be able to fit them still.
2) Duke has the disc on the left side whereas avenger has it on the right side, and the disc on duke is wider than that on avenger. So u cant retain the original front wheel of the avenger if u manage to fit the forks from duke.
3) You may end up spending a lot of money

Re: USD for bajaj avenger 200cc
I know this thread is very old. But, happened to read it while searching for bajaj avenger suspension.
My brother wants to fit the new thunderbird's front forks in his avenger because they look beefy and are functional too. Any suggestions on this idea?
Does anybody have the fork length comparison of the 2 bikes?? For the rear, we are going to plonk in the thunderbird's gas charged shockers, because they are a little harder and would not bottom out like the avenger's with a pillion rider..
