Even I was not sure about using a hair-shampoo. I used it as the Waxpol bottle got emptied.
I visited Wellington last Saturday and visited 4-5 shops but they don't stock Sonax or Formula 1. Only Waxpol and some local brands(I'm not sure about the quality of those and the bottle and sticker itself was of very cheap and amateur).

Finally ordered Formula 1 Wash & Wax Car Shampoo(473 ml) from ebay.in. Cost me 225+60(for shipping).

But how can be you so sure that the stuff sold on e-bay is genuine, infact what i have came to know that these online sites also sell fake products.

Although you have made a choice on eBay now, a friend recommended Johnson&Johnson Baby shampoo in case I run out of my car shampoo. That shampoo has the least amount of chemicals(Even the ones in it are safe enough for a baby's head, so a bike would be safe I presume)

I have been using Pidilite's Motomax shampoo for past one year and am pretty satisfied with it. One bottle worth ₹50 lasts 5-7 washes, which seems good to me. Moreover, it's available easily at most stores.

I know. But I took a chance because I couldn't find it elsewhere. Got the product a few days back. Did one wash only till date. Result is good so far. Will post more updates later.

One formula 1 wash and you good to go mate as it cleans and wax also

Absolutely! Two washes till now and I'm satisfied. Despite doing it's job of cleaning well, it's surprisingly mild.

Have done 4 washes till date. Does the job pretty nicely. I'd recommend it to everyone with similar requirements.

After 11-12 washes till date, I can say the product is genuine and definitely good. I recommend this to everyone with similar needs.

Bought all these 3 from amazon.. total Rs450 so avoided shipping cost. 3M makes good stuff

Can't wait to apply on my Neo

The fragrance is awesome in this 3M.. I applied this using a sprayer in bottle , I did see muddy water after spraying indicating it works good.
Then I waxed it, bike is new as ever.

Sorry for the late reply.
Formula 1 is better imo. The cleaning properties are better and the shine it gives after the wash - is awesome. Also, it's not too heavy on the paint.

Isn't washing your bike at the bike wash a better option? I do it once, sometimes twice a week. There too use clinic plus
