And very very comfortable and spacious too.

Can understand the point that you made on who can't afford. That thought has crossed my mind everyone I see triples especially with kids less than 4 years old.

Just personally feel we don't have the right to risk their lives esp when they are not aware of it.

No problem, carry your baby on your bike, join the multitude of retards, go with the flow, when in Rome etc...
My child sits on my ride, starts the engine and twists the throttle, she ain't going nowhere on the ride until 1) I have a helmet that fits her, 2) She has protective riding gear, jacket, pants and boots, but then I love and care for my child, if you do the same way, you wouldn't need to ask the question, good luck to you'll. Check your RC book if your vehicle is a 2 or 3 seater, that may help you answer you question!
