    Awrite... maybe your usage falls more in the severe catageory. In that case, of course, you would need to change more often. But 2k still seems too less...

        Even I had fitted a k&n to my bike. I had fitted it in the airfilter box and not on the carburetor. It started giving me 20kmpl on my cbz classic. Then I had to fix the Stock filter back. But the problem is that even after fitting in the stock air filter the mileage is still the same. I am really fed up and have given up. If anyone can help me. It would be of great help. Ah. fuh-got to mention I was running the k&n with stock jet, probably the reason why i was jetting poor mileage.

          first of all get air-fuel mixture tuning right on your stock carb and stock filter through a mechanic and check the milage....the put the k&n and again get the air-fuel mixture tuning right with stock jet(tell mechanic to increase the fuel by 2 to 3 revolutions more than the stock filter)...check the milage then....Well increasing the jet size will surely give u good performance but less milage becaue of more fuel suction....
