I want to modify the rear suspension of my avenger as my wife complains about the rear saddle on long rides

. I too feel the rear shockers bottoming out in potholes. I am eyeing the gas charged springs from the pulsars or maybe the thunderbird. Any suggestions?? I read on the forums that bencharian has done it with the thunderbird's shockers on his avenger but it has increased the ride height. I have asked him details but no reply yet.
Anybody else can throw in some light???To avoid increasing the height, I am thinking how would a new swingarm do to maintain the same ride height? That would also increase the wheelbase, but I suppose it will be helpful in emergency braking conditions too. I have been fortuante enough not to kiss the tarmac in heavy braking, as the rear slides a lot. Also, bringing out the rear wheel will improve the stance of the bike.
Anybody knows about some good fabricators for building up the swingarm??
Also, I am planning to run on tubeless tires. 100/80 r17 front. 140/70 r17 rear. The pirellis will provide better grip too.

Please pour in your suggestions on the R&D.
