I am in same situation as yours. My 150cc 2010 Pulsar, run only 20000km, all of sudden stopped starting, after some experiment by a local mechanic, now even Kick is jammed. As per the suggestion by him, I went to Bajaj and they suggested me engine rebuild. They given me estimate of 10000 Rs.

Working condition 2010 Pulsar are on sale for 12-15k so I am bit skeptical about going for Engine rebuild for 10k. Wants to know from you if its worth it.

How is your long term experience? Should I go for it?

Please reply as soon as possible as I am not having spare vehicle and need to travel by AMTS at the moment I need to make quick decision

Don’t rebuild. It’s performance has been reduced drastically and all in all it is not worth the money.

I can’t say it went well since performance has taken hit. Pickup is reduced by 30% that i can now compare it with splendor, one thing that still keeps me from ditching it is mileage, it is giving 45kmpl.

Usually, changing clutch improves pickup.

Yes, but now I have to travel for 65km with my brother on daily basis so we are using car and using bike for short run or roaming in city.
