Which battery was this? Amarons come factory charged. Ditto for BOSCH, I guess.

also do u mean to say that ur bike got DC just after replacing the stock battery with amaron pro rider without any intention of doing so ?
The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.

I am using a Amaron AP-ATX2.5L 2.5AH battery since last 1.5 yrs in my classsis Unicorn. The stock Amco battery lasted 1.5 years after that I got Exide , which lasted aroud 2.5 yrs.
I hope the Amaron will last for at least 5 yr as claimed by its warranty terms.Comment

I ride Pulsar 2005 model. Had to change stock Exide battery after 3 yrs. Since Amaron and Bosch are from the same plant, I opted Bosch..It's almost 3 years now..still working like a viagra fed horse!!
