        • I am using Formula 1 wax for the past 3 years. Feel the bike new till date But when buying formula1 wax confirm it is orginal one.

          • The best polish money can buy is Meguiar's or a cheaper option (but way better than most other brands) is Turtle Wax.

I saw turtle wax being sold in Reliance Autozone and i guess atleast such big establishments would not be selling fakes. So you can try there. Also the originals will have proper importer name and other details on the bottle.
                    Just my thought.

                    Regards

Why do you think that ? I found many such big big establishments sell fakes all the time

                        • I use Sonax shampoo for wash, then apply a coat of turtle wax hard shell paste (bought 3 of them from a shopkeeper who thought it was spoiled.. for Rs.50 each ) the next day i apply a coat of collinite 845.
                          So my opinion about these:

Sonax shampoo (1ltr =Rs.280 genuine): A decent product at price. Works like a charm. Yes but dont expect it to remove tar stains and stuff (it does, but needs efforts)

Turtle hard shell paste wax: A very good product but very hard to apply. Seriously a workout to buff it off. But the results make you smile need to take much care while applying as it gets into gaps or on plastics and looks bad after drying there.

Collinite 845: One of the best i have ever used (suggested by aargee.. Thanks a lot) Easiest to apply and remove. Very good water beeding (use it on my helmet visor tooo) and doesnt stain plastics that quickly. Lasts very very long.. (ordered from bringingbest.com and must say a very nice and responsive service)

Apart from that, a MF glove to wash, and a MF cloth to wipe or buff off the wax and a clean cham chamois to dry is all i use and they all make my work a lot simpler.
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

safest ( absolutely no abrasion ) , and hardest to apply and take-out wax .It is simply called waxpol auto-polish in orange shallow tubs,of 50,100,200 & 500 Gms .I buy the 200 for Rs 95 here in kolkata .
Almost 99% of the "imported" products available here are fake . None ,even if original is as good as waxpol auto polish . None is available for this reasonable price . I am willing to take the extra time & work to keep my bike shiny & protected . Before monsoons I dismantle the seat & side panels of bike & then give it a good waxpol coating , all over , and don't remove or buff/finish it even , to keep all the wax coat on for the rainy days ahead . Safe for plastics , chrome , leather , wood or vinyl etc .
When I was a young boy , my dad used to use the same stuff from a similar tub , on his black ambassador mark II . It was labeled "burmah shell car polish" then . I remember , it smelled the same as this waxpol stuff . It's jolly good stuff ,don't bother with anything else , if you are not shy of a polishing-workout . Recently I couldn't find this in auto-accessory shops , then I found it in a paints & hardware-shop . Evrything else i tried was - easy on , easy gone . So look around .
i bought a tin of waxpol, can we apply this on plastic parts of our bikes

                            • Yups , no problem . If you read it , it's written right there on the ugly tincan ...plastics , vinyl , leather, wooden furniture & flooring etc etc . Do try it on your leather shoes too .. works awesum .

The waxpol stuff is very similar to the Turtle hard shell ( green tincan ) .. if it's caking up on plastic & crevices , u are using too much of it .. apply thinly with a damp cloth .
