Pulsar 200 mods
Hi all...!!! I am a new member of xbhp and own a Pulsar 200 DTSI 2008 model... I had a bad crash sumtym ago such that my headlight screen and mudguard busted... I got d mudguard cut in a sportier shape n screen replaced with a local one... But nw i came 2 knw dat my bracket has also broken... I wanna knw if I replace it wid a stock headlamp assembly or a modified one lyk FZ16 or R15... Also help me wid the performance mods too possible in my bike....!!! Mine is 10000 kms run and 8-9 months old.... Plz.... Help...!!!!!

If i were you, i would get the headlamp replaced with the stock one. I feel the P200 looks best with the wolf eye headlamp and is by far the well proportionate bike available.The bracket wont cost much, something in the range of Rs200-250 max. In my opinion the headlamp glass will become white with use and you would have to change it again.The FZ16 headlamp looks good but it wont suit the bike well, same goes with the R15.
For performance mods,Get an iridium spark plug..it improves acceleration and FE. A k&N filter is also available, may be the guru's out here will help u on that.Comment

thanks for ur advice ripper.... I shall definitely get it replaced with a stock one.... and i asked about the cost of the bracket that supports the headlight assembly....!!!! and maybe it is also called 'lampshade''... does it really cost 250-300...??? cuz i hratd frm sum1 that the stock one cums for 1000/-... and cud u plz elaborate about the performance mods.... I am new to this modding thing but i am really crazy bout my bike and want to take it's performance even further... By the way I got 134 kph max. on my speedo... acc. is good but has cum down a little from the tym of 1st service...Comment

I also wanna knw about the best tyres i can get for my red beauty cuz the stock zappers quiet dicey since sumtym (infact they always felt dicey).... I dont hv a very high budget for tyres but i want good branded,reliable,tubeless tyoes with good grip on road.... I m nt gonna count on zappers nymore... frnt shud b of same size n back can be 130... soft compound preffered...Comment

i say replace it with the stock headlamp
and unless your tires are worn out no need , the stock zappers have enough grip or you can go for the new zapper vydeComment

i got the bore pistn kit of 200 and the head of my 180...

free flow...(actually made the stock one a free flow)...
HID(bosch 6k)
currently facing huge oil leakage from the block, carb choking up when i wringing throttle....will get it solved and get back ASAP for further updates..

you should go for the head of 200 as well
