    The new P200s also come with new 37mm suspension setup. How do you suppose we replace the clipons without replacing the suspension?

      the clip on's on the 220 are useless and wont make any difference

      try some after market clip on's
      you will have a lot of vibrations but riding position will improve drastically to improve handling

      and if you want to go for clip on's just because they look good IMO you will not be happy

              do not fit k&n filter without upjetting.. if you are giving more air to your engine.. it has the right to ask for more fuel as well via upjetting..

              sprocketing is all yours.. play with it the way you want... decide on higher top end aurrr greater initial..

                I believe the 220 clipons are extremely functional. Gives you a brilliant riding stance. If it can be done, then I think they are better than the cheap after market ones available.

                If your interested in functional mods,as opposed to fashion, i suggest you get a 55/60 coil off the Avenger and slip in a good bulb. Did this mod today with the bulb being a night breaker and the lighting is way way better.Better than the stock lamps of the 220 by about 5-10%. Although no where close to HID's.

                  Guys my pulsar is black digi one.. the max speed told to me for it was 120KMPH. mine is now 20K old.. shes doing 115MAX..is this normal fall in performance...can i still get the performace liek the new.. Also if you guys can help me out the Max gear speeds i can pick so that i can optimise the carried spee to next gear ,, resultinng in max speed... although its 20k service is due.. what can be the things that might have worn out ...resulting in fall in performance..

                    ^^ Check ur chain and sprockets, spark plugs, clutch and accelerator cables, engine timing chain, Valve timing...I think these should be enough! Maybe someone can give u a brief description!

                        around 4500 bucks totally. But worth it..the rev limiter is of the engine it happily crosses 10k rpm!!! ihave a 44t (normal 180 ug3 set up) & the bike has insane amount of torque i beat a 220 at 0-60 !!

                        I would strongly suggest that dont go for a bore, although it costs 70 bucks here in thane and the oversize piston will cost you around 700bucks may be less. this mod should be good enough for you to beat a zma or even catch with a R15!! once you get the proper jet size and sprockets.

                        now here a question i also hv completed 50k on odo and don't know when i have to rebore my engine of pulsar 200 . so if it required then can i switch to pulsar 220 cc piston with p200 head because if i change head then i also need to change carb+wiring+bcu which cost tooo.
                        so please guide me if i can jst do that by welding or fitting some extra packing so piston can not hit the head...

                          I own a pulsar 200 the speedometer of my bike has stopped working . I was thinking of replacing it with 200 ns speedometer along with the whole headlight unit of 200 ns. is it possible. and what costs can I expect for it ???

                            Sorry mate! I am not sure if that is a good idea or worth the money and efforts. No mechanic at ASC is competent enough to do this mod unless it is a direct fit. However you can expect a hole in your pocket .

                            Best solution: Locate a junk yard and see if you can source a speedo else go for OEM of your model and work on mods.

                              Even if speedometer change is possible you would have to change the electrical system on the old p200 as everything is connected to a BCU(it is an intelligent unit that regulates the electrical system such as 5sec delayed headlight power, self cancelling indicatore etc) and in the new p200ns the BCU has been taken off. This conversion would cost a bomb and then you would have to fabricate mounting points for the headlight and the speedo. A shortcut would be to get the front end from the p200ns but again would be very expensive.
                              Imo not a very practical mod.
