  • Power Problem in Pulsar 150 cc

I own a Pulsar 150 cc DTS-i. Its been 4.5 yrs since i bought the bike.
Recently I have been having a problem . Previously I used to accelerate on every gear, so that by the time, i reach the 5th gear, i would be at 80 - 90 kms / hr. Now this is not happening. Now when i try to accelerate more on any gear to attain power, its not happening. The engine is not
generating that much power as it used to.

I told about this problem to Bajaj Service centre, and they replaced Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate on the bike, confirming to me that the problem will get solved. But still the problem is recurring. I'm going crazy on this problem. Please advise.

Awaitin to hear for a resolution.
    Thankz.

I lodged a service complaint yesterday at their Pune HQ. The next day morning, The service Manager of the Dealer calls me up in regard of this complaint and asks me to bring in the vehicle for a check-up. After a test-drive, he finally understood what the problem was. It was the carbuettor. It was clogged up completely. So the next day, i made them pick-up my vehicle from my office to fix the issue. They did a complete over-hauling of the carbuettor. Nothing was charged. Not even service charges. Then they delivered my bike back at my office.

So the problem is solved with no extra cost.

Closing Resolution: Jab ghee seedhi ungli se na nikle, to ungli tedhi karni padti hain........ heheheheheheee
