    Nope, no jerks if I've changed it to reserve even if the main isn't bone dry.
    In my experience, about 10km before the low fuel starts blinking in main, the jerks begin
    if I ignore the knocks and clunks, the low fuel light stays on for 5km before I absolutely need to hit reserve.

    This may be a bummer to the thread owner, but I have gotten used to it, and it's just easier to get a tank full of fuel last 450 odd km before I need to encounter those jerks.
