Bike Beginner – Most Basic Query help Pls

Kindly explain in as much simpler language and specific detailed steps as possible as I am really frustrated in learning bike.
Pls in your response mention in what sequence I need to press or release clutch (whether its half clutch or full clutch) ; change gear; throttle in specific situations below.
Request your answers to be for absolute beginners. For me complex manoeuvring is not required at this stage.

    Situation One:

I have started my bike and have upshifted from gear one to gear two and driving at 25 km/hr for example.
Now I am approaching a 4 way cross road where its green light but good traffic moving but not very fast.
How should I handle this situation where I have to slow down but might not have to stop?

What if the above traffic is crawling?

What if I have to suddenly stop?

    Situation Two:

I have started my bike and have upshifted from gear one to gear two and driving at 25 km/hr for example.
Now I have to take a U Turn / Make a corner turning where some little traffic might be there.

How should I handle the whole turning thing in terms of before approaching turn, actually turning?

Ans: if the speed of the traffic is approximately equal to you, do nothing and keep steady speed of 25. If the traffic is moving fast and you feel everyone is honking at you and overtaking, shift to third gear and increase the speed. If you think traffic is moving slower than you apply brakes to reduce your speed to make it equal to the traffic. If the speed drops below 15 kmph, pull in the clutch and shift to first gear, and then you can use half a clutch to smoothen out the jerks that come with first gear.

What if the above traffic is crawling?
Ans: Shift the bike in first and use half clutch to crawl, don't forget to pull in the clutch fully, every time you stop or else the bike will jerk and come to a halt.

What if I have to suddenly stop?
Ans: As stated in the answer above you will already be in first gear and will be holding the clutch. You will also have your rear brake covered by your right foot and a finger on the front brake lever. If you have to suddenly stop pull in the clutch (so the bike doesn't jerk and halt), and apply both brakes. All three things (clutch, front and rear brake) can be done at the same time. Once you are fully stopped, you can release rear brake and place the foot on ground to make the bike more stable. The front brake is enough to keep the bike in place. When you are ready to move release the front brake and then release the clutch gradually while twisting the accelerator (like you normally do), and you are moving again.

        Situation Two:

I have started my bike and have upshifted from gear one to gear two and driving at 25 km/hr for example.

Ans : You have to judge whether you can turn the bike at your current speed. If you are moving with the speed of the traffic, lets say 30 kmph in third gear and you think that you can make the turn at this speed without any problem, change nothing and keep moving with traffic. If you think you need to reduce the speed, gently brake till you reach the speed you are confident with, change from third to second if the speed comes down below 20 and then take the turn.
Answers in red. By the looks of your queries brother, it seems that you are yet not very confident. May I suggest to ride the bike in an open play ground away from traffic and that you would be safe. Find an empty playground, make a twisty track for yourself with a stick and then practice your turns and braking and shifting gears on that. you will get good experience and even if you mess up and halt the bike you wont have to worry about traffic around you. Once you are confident with shifting gears and braking at the same time, then find an empty road, maybe early in the morning and practice on road, then and only then take the bike out in city traffic. Every one of us face the issues you face and every one of us is confused and there is only one solution - practice, practice and practice some more.

Feel free to ask any more queries that you may have, we are always happy to help.
        Ride safe brother.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

I am sorry to be an idiot here.

I would suggest you ride any gearless vehicle and get some confidence first.

Everything you have asked comes from common sense. I am saying in a bad way so please don’t get offended. To control your speed, use brakes and if you feel the bike is going to stale, hold the clutch and downshift. If you feel the traffic is faster than you, better upshift and increase your speed else let them idiots keep honking or give them way

To take a U turn, it is pretty simple. Always shift to first gear (beginners) so that you dont drop your bike as the bike wont pull in other gears (in case of a complete stop)

I would still stick to my suggestion of gettinf a gearless 2 wheeler

Hi! Its good that you've decided to give motorcycling a go, I started in 2011 on a Hero Honda Karizma R, taught myself how to ride with the help of the internet as I didn't have anyone to show/guide/teach me.

            I could go into details on overcoming most hurdles but rather than that I will sum up riding in one sentence that would make a world of difference for anyone starting to ride a motorcycle;

"If you do not experience engine braking when rolling off the throttle, Downshift!"

Say if you're approaching a situation which needs slowing down, you drop a gear and progressively let go of the clutch, if there's adequate engine braking then all is well, but if the motorcycle just coasts then drop another gear and keep going until you experience engine braking. Lower gears would be shorter hence the need to get used to progressively letting go of the clutch to prevent wheel hop/slip on some motorcycles.

            Cheers!

The experts here have already pointed to the right direction, rest is all thinking and practicing.
I will twll you my story.
It was 2002 and all of my friends knew how to ride a 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler. I knew neither.

But i was very keep to learn, as i was a science student and wanted to know the practicality of all automobiles. Had rx135 yamaha parked in my home it was my brother's.my brother was in IMA. One fine day after school i got so motivated that i told my mother i am going to ride the motorcycle (she didnt know that i dont know how to ride a motorcycle).
Pushed the vehicle to the road and kicked started it. Tried everything but didnt move. 15 mins-still nothing. My eldest brother came and said, give me the motorcycle and off he went.
I was heart broken--yamaha, 2 stroke taken away from me.
3 months and my father got me to nda coaching. Met a guy, he had passion motorcyle. We became good friends. And one day i asked him that i will ride today, he asked - i hope ypu know it. I said yeah.
That was the last day in my life that anybody could say i didnt know how to ride a 2 wheeler. Drove with jerks, so,etimes out of control but never stalled. My friend came to know that it was my first time when at 90 degrees i went like a rocket. Ha. Where there is a will, thete is a way.
For 4 wheeler, my wife said- i hope ypu know how to drive i said yeah. It was in usa, 1995 ford explorer, v8, 4.1l. Powerful v8.never stalled and here i am.
You have youtube, many other classes to learn how to drive. We had only determination. The reason of telling you my story is only motivation.

              Get up man, start practicing
