  • Help me to identify this part please.

Last week I have done a water washed my bike- Yamaha SZ-R. It was from a water wash centre and I have removed and refitted the chain guard by my self.

Please see the attached image. I have seen this in my parking area where I parked my bike. That time I was not sure, whether it has been fallen from my bike or not. Today I have removed the chain guard again to clean and lubricate. To my surprise I got another piece from the chain guard. Now I have the below two parts with me. Somebody please help me to understand what it is?.

One is big and other one is small. Which can be connected together as shown in the second pic.

Additional info: Please dont tell me this is washer like thing used in the chain guard box bolts. I have checked and conform it is not.

    Thanks in advance
    Nidin

As per my friend, the chainguard is fitted with these along with rubber parts to fit snugly. Please check if you have secured everything properly. You must be missing some.

No dear. That is bolt flange(?). Those parts are perfectly there in the chain guard. All the four are same shape and size.

But this is something else looking similar to the bolt flanges. Inner diameter is smaller for one piece. So that it can be connected together as i shown in the second picture.

If somebody have SZR workshop manual or parts list kindly share the same.
