        Keeping the personal health problems aside..lets come back to the business.

        Got the ABS installed to my bike today. Yeah yeah I know people are aruguing on the name that it shouldn't be called as ABS but for the sake of ease I'll prefer to call it ABS only.

        Got it fitted this evening and rode around 25kms for the return journey to home. Effects were quite evident and felt the difference immediately. For the initial test ride after fitting it rode on the road out side the complex and fortunately it was a cement road(same road on which there are more chances of wheel lock ups and skidding). Even after slamming the rear break hard at speeds in excess of 60-70 there was no sign of lock up.

        Bottom line is I am feeling happy after installing it. But a longer ride will bring ahead the results in a better way.

          Better on the front disc

          Would it not be better to install this on the front disc since most of the braking ( 70 - 80 %) is on the front wheel. Slamming down on the rear could be a dangerous thing.
          Also what is the basic principle of this device ?

            Is anyone using the ABS only in the front brake? I am planning to install one in my ZMA. Do you thing it will be effective in front brake as well?

              I myself havn't installed the device to the front brake yet but am so impressed with the peformance that I may install it soon.

              There were plenty..plenty of bikes like FZs..Zma..and P200 s (who didnt have rear disc) who were installing it to their front brakes.. When I talked to a few of them, they said they are installing it coz they took test ride of a few other bikes with the device installed to the front brake and they were quite impressed..

                  COsting around 6-700...
                  For more details refer bike india,
                  And its for sure u can fit them on both dics , thing is tat u refer to a expert
                  mechanic...coz experimenting with the disc brake may be quite troublesome...

                      So it's safe to say, this device should be called delay locking system.
                      My thoughts are subjected to personal experiences/internet articles. Please read my comment carefully before replying. :)

                                Hi DK. Ketan has already given a detailed picture of how his R15 performing with the ABS just couple of posts back. It is suitable for both the brakes.
