        Yes There should be no deviation in the L-R direction.

          yes there is play in the swingarm bush. I'll have to get em replaced.
          However I asked the spares shop. They said it costs just 100bucks. A local and trustworthy mechanic said he'll change it for just 80 bucks. Gonna get it done tomorrow morning.
          Question: What kills the bush? How come it has gone kaput so soon? What is the average life of the bush?
          About that decarb thing, i asked seven local mechanics. nOObs as well as highly experienced ones. Every one of them said that there is no need to decarb at just 4160kms.
          Also I didnt experience any deterioration in the acceleration and Fuel Eff.
          They service advisor seemed to know nothing about engines and was assuming that even I dont know anything about my bike's engine.

          One of the local mechs took out the spark plug to see if there is any carbon deposit due to richer mixture.Even he said that everythings fine.

          We have to get 9 services done from authorised bajaj service centres in order to avail warranty.

          @REVZ

                There should be absolutely no movement in L-R direction. And make sure you lift the rear wheel off the ground when you check this.

                Else, check the wheel bearings!

                Something must be loose, else the weave would not be there.
                Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

                  also, is it advisable to get swingarm bush replacement done by a local mechanic rather than going to ASSC.....the labor charges will be less.....but only if it would be ok to get it done outside!!!......

                  Yes, if the mechanic is skilllful

                  Depends!
                  There can not be any certain defined life for them

                  That is what most of the bajaj service guys do
                  Anyways, how about complaining about him to Bajaj!
